When you buy property, your cash balance goes down and the property balance goes up..
One asset goes down and another asset goes up..
There is absoloutely no impact to the profit..
lol !
These Assets will be shown as expenses incurred for getting the profit.
When i say assets, they are not necessarily Property..it could be anything like computers which have the maximum depreciation...
LIOC imports all the fuel from middle east, refine them in india & then transport them to srilanka to sell them.
U think LIOC is dumb enuf to do this for 20 long years if it is all loss ?
a loss in book accounts does not mean necessarily loss making venture & similarly a profit in book accounts does not mean necessarily profit making venture !
