| | The AXE Tuesday, 12 May 2009 - 12:10 PM SL Time | | | At least, people must open eyes and select the correct path to ask demands. The world has changed, and space to taking demands by force is less, unless you are not a big-power. The global respect for the Tamil culture and nation at danger, if things move this way ..!
A section of civilians are facing the death, but SLA/ LTTE is dragging war. But, no war is going to settle for peace, when one party is facing a near defeat.
I
f LTTE want to protect people, they have to surrender to SLA.
If SLDF wants to protect civilians from fire, they have to surrender to LTTE.
So, now we all know what should be the practical option.

Yes,..according to news clips we see, it seems, Canadian young Tamils are only getting one side of the story. May be they dont want or adults dont let them to talk in that direction. |

SL is winning
mmm....SL is loosing since the war started in the country. In that context, all Sri Lankans are in it.
Today, Tamils are cultivating negative image further, when they start to protest in other countries, by disturbing civilian life there.
After all, Canada gave refugee status to 1000s of SL Tamils. They should keep some respect to the country at least. But, politically, the issue is favorable to GOSL. |

Robins,
GOSL is fighting a deadly war with LTTE, and you even can see the load of guns and all those hidden weapons of LTTE. Why they collected that much...? Just to kill more and try to divide the country.
If not, they had a some reasonable time to start serious talks. They could have use global Tamil support to get IC attention to start talks for reasonable demands.
No country will openly help to divide another country. The plan was not on the correct track from the start.
After the war, IC will decide how they deal with SL, if they found war crimes.
Specially, trapped people will talk the real truth, and one part of the truth will never come out.
Its a disaster to see the way LTTE took 1000s of young Tamils to the path of death. But, thats the way they wanted it....!
The negative feeling between our nations will continue for years. Thats sad, but the environment has set for that.
But, at least people will live without much fear for life.
So, dont STOP thinking that no-use to talking to Sinhalese. There are many, always ready to talk and share difficulties.
I hope, MR will over-come the extreme demands from JHU or JVP, after the war. |

You are still talking like a baby, cunning snake.
LTTE is the only group that hides behind their own civilians and keep them as hostage.

LTTE did the worst act in its history by trapping own people into the war-zone. No so-called freedom fighters are doing that. They may hide among civilians, but they dont force people to give a cover.
From the start, if they kept open civilian movements, perhaps, even VP could have slipped already...! |
