Read this. they should not be trusted at all.
They are hawks.
Bernard Kouchner and Carl Bildt
Five years already! We both knew Zoran Djindjic, the Prime Minister of Serbia, well. We remember his deeply felt convictions, his love for his beautiful country and his certainty that it had to accelerate its progress towards the European Union. At that time, the EU had only 15 members and Zoran knew his country would soon join it.
Today, like many others, we mourn his death. We still feel as stunned as we did on March 12, 2003 at his assassination and the extinguishing of the hope and energy he embodied. Today we both have a special commitment to the Balkans, and Serbia in particular. Five years after the death of Zoran Djindjic, we want to pay him homage and express our friendship for Serbia.
Serbia is going through another difficult period. We know the shock Serbia feels at the loss of Kosovo. We are also conscious of the incomprehension of our Serbian friends when France, then Sweden, both friends of Serbia, recognised Kosovo's independence. As we have said so many times - including to the Kosovans - our two countries, like many others, would have preferred the continuation of the union between the western Balkan states. But the horrific wars of the 1990s, and the massacres their peoples suffered, dealt Yugoslavia a fatal blow.
The source of those wars was in Kosovo, and it was in Kosovo three weeks ago that the former Yugoslavia's dismemberment was completed. Our countries recognised Kosovo's independence because it had become clear that there was no other solution. How much longer could the uncertainty have been allowed to go on? So, yes, we took the responsibility of recognising Kosovo's independence, convinced that this would help Serbia move forward.
It is probably hard for our Serbian friends today to imagine that they will soon be European citizens. And yet in our view it is certain that Serbia will soon be a member of the EU, because there is no alternative. This is in tune with the march of history, because Serbia, everyone agrees, is the backbone of the region.
We want Serbia to be given official EU candidate country status as soon as possible, and are prepared to help Serbia to move towards accession, proud of its history and focused on the future. We want the citizens of Serbia to be able to travel freely within the Schengen area. For us, the visa facilitation agreement that has benefited many Serbians since January 1 of this year is not enough. It is time for the EU to open a process with Serbia with a view to lifting visa requirements altogether.
Let us work together, hand in hand, to turn Zoran Djindjic's hope into reality.

Carl bildt is a serpent
the problem with europeans:
they think stability at any cost can help bring development and uplift peoples lives in developing countries. They are implimenting a formula that has worked for Europe.
But these people do not understand the deep seated problems associated with sri lanka, neither did they understand Palestine, iraq, etc.., so they think they can come like lord and impose these rules and regulations. They want to mold us in their view and hope these problems if kept stable for a 30 years or so they would just melt away.
Wrong!
See, the problem with LTTE is revenge, and at its upper echelon they have thrived on it and will not relinquish power at any cost.
So the solution is a military one with LTTE, and then a very generous package for tamils in north and east (I think it is wise to give them anything and everything short of national security (anything that falls in it also) and maritime boundaries. |

For example the armistice did not work in WW I because the aggressors were alive and well. all it created was a situation of revenge, and it eventually gave way to WW II, which was much devastating.
WWII and after all the development programs worked in Europe because all the aggressors were dead, since they fought to the last man. The situation in Japan was similar.
Leaders and followers gone, Americans, Brits and coalition was able to implement programs to develop Europe rapidly. Marshal plan would be in tatters if Hitler and his core supporters were given amnesty and roaming germany and austria. Same in Afganistan, until Osama bin landen is captured of verified killed with his core leadership, there will never be peace in that country.
the key is: these terrorist aggressors and their leadership should be decimated, the foreign support base should be eliminated, it will be only after that we can have real growth and development.
Europeans should understand this. We sri lankans already know this. |

He doesn't make sense. It was the same west that protected the JVP leader Somawansa Amarasinha when he was under death threat. And it was the same west that protected V.I.Lenin until 1917
It is not the whole west. It is the overzealous and stupid human rights groups that are the problem. And the leftist liberal always-on-the-side-of-the-criminal out-of-control news media is the problem |

Taking our issue, the ltte has explited the Tamil pesants.
The elite and the educated have fled and pumping money to get hold of the eelam to pursue their own goals with vested interst f the West whose proxy & financier is NORWAY.
We need to break this so called backbone.
Once ltte is eliminated here, they are a non entity.
Thereafter, what we need to provide to these humble tamils are water and fertiliser & fishing to prop their livelyhoods and a hand to educate their children. That is all they require.
they are a contended lot.
Our misery is a western agenda as they do not like the face of Mahinda Mama. To make it worse, the Prez tapped all the sources outside the Western hemishphere and that has become an added concern to the West.
Today, if Ranil's face was there on Rajapkse name there would have been no pressure.
As for the rajapakse's they are not willing to pawn the country.
One thing we must remember... the meaning f eelam is the entirerity of the country and the eelam vultures with their money are out there. |
