USA Claiming Separation from UN?

Tuesday, 21 April 2009 - 9:10 AM SL Time

The Hon Ban Ki-moon
Secretary General
United Nations
New York

21 April 2009

Dear Mr. Ban,

The Power Struggle between UN & USA

I refer to your statements about the countries led by the USA in relation to the Anti Racism Summit. It is reported that you said Some nations, who by rights should be helping to forge a path to a better future, are not here,

What is a better future Mr. Ban? To me it is one where we are free of dependence. If you depend on certain nations that carry the leadership status, you are depending on them for the solutions against racism. Their conduct confirms that they are guilty of racism. Accepting that Truth as per your own faith is the deepest service you could provide to the People who look up to the UN. Now even Tamil Tigers are turning to the USA. There are many supporters of Tamil Tigers fasting in front of Western Parliaments to `dictate` to those governments. That is not their earned `right` to use your own description. They have the right to assemble in front of Sri Lankan Government Representatives but not in front of the Governments of these other `independent` countries. I assembled in front of the Central Administration of an institution to whose governance I had contributed at policy level. One must earn the right to assemble as well as leave/withdraw. The USA which has been leading the wars against Terrorism, did not have the right to withdraw from the Anti Racism Summit and I disassociate myself from any group that seeks the assistance of the USA Government, to the Tamil Problem.

When the USA refused to issue visas to the Tamil Tigers, I forewent my earned opportunities and decided to `fast` by renouncing the American visa until the visa block against the Tigers seeking to negotiate was removed. Now the American Government is helping the Tamil Tigers who seek a negotiated settlement and I felt that my prayers through that fast have been answered by the goodness in Americans.

Fasting is most effective when we renounce on `project` basis. I therefore do not identify with those who are giving up `food` for Peace, in front of those with whom they do not feel a common connection through Peace. Tiger supporters ought to be fasting by giving up weapons and all forms of violence including demands through their one sided thinking. That`s when they have earned Peace. It`s not earned by wearing T-shirts with words of Peace printed on them. Feelings first, then the substance and then the label that best represents that substance.

As per current reports, the Australian Government is worried about boat-refugees. Our Home Affairs Minister, the Hon Bob Debus says ``I think it would be more accurate to say (there are) thousands who are in that country and interested (in entering Australia illegally),

White Australians who entered Australia on boat and pretended that this land was terra nullius do not have the moral authority to target their followers the current boat people - until they make amends to those who were here when they arrived. Until then they have moral authority only to uphold and symbolize global structures and principles. They do not have the moral authority to benefit from them nor punish others outside the framework of those principles. The statements by Mr. Debus are political and therefore are outside the framework of those principles.

Mr. Rudd said that `people smugglers` were the scum of the earth. Perhaps Mr. Rudd would better appreciate the situation if he had deeper faith in his own ancestors. These people smugglers are the parallel of the English Government that sent convicts to Australia, instead of using their own resources to punish and protect.

USA in turn has been invading other countries outside the framework provided by the UN. By doing that they lose the higher common global status. It`s like in devolution of power. At the University of NSW, many faculties were keen to move away from Central Administration and towards this they sought devolution of power to be autonomous. Likewise Tamils of Sri Lanka, from the Central Government elected by majority race. Looking through the eyes of a migrant, I do see value in this. But as a realized Australian I see the lower limits that are automatically placed through such devolution of power. Let`s take for example the Faculty of Medicine where I did work as the Management Accountant and was highly recognized on merit basis. That performance would not have been possible if I had been ambitious for a position within Central Administration and therefore had said `yes` to the Director of Finance. I protested against their breach of fundamentals in reporting and accepted my lower status as a Sri Lankan qualified accountant who to most older Australians looks like a book-keeper. I did so, because I wanted the whole of the University to benefit from my work which was highly valued by the Medical Faculty led by the then Dean of Medicine, Professor Bruce Dowton. If power had been devolved to the faculties, they are likely to have earned more money but less status at the higher levels within Australia. This is happening to Tamils in Sri Lanka who have mentally devolved themselves with power and are joining forces with Tamils of India. A Medical Faculty may earn more money and wider status but not higher status than the University itself. That is why it is important to keep the central positions attractive to those who are likely to benefit from devolution for example USA which is mentally devolving itself from the UN.

It is common belief amongst migrants that they get paid less than their parallels in Western community. I have found this to be true, through my own experience. I realize now that after a certain point it costs more to work than not to work. Costs and benefits are to be calculated in terms of money and status. The rest of the work is done because we want to do it so we belong. That is the reason I recognize for the boycott of the Anti Racism summit. USA is now forming its own global structures and hence sees less value in the UN than it did previously.

I am a firm believer in the power of faith. Hence my protests to `include` Central Administration by sharing my wisdom in Equal Opportunity values , in which they were/are very weak. Like the above mentioned Peace labels by Tiger supporters, the University also carried all the right labels in relation to Equal Opportunity. But they were not practiced and hence their conduct revealed that they felt racially superior. Feeling it is natural in a country where government is elected by majority race. But then when it comes to interactions with other races, they had the responsibility to think and act and not feel and block others` paths. Likewise the Sri Lankan Government elected by Sinhalese.

Where conscious thinking and application of Anti Discrimination laws prevail, there is no need for devolution of power and worse separation. Even if it is given to me, I do not want to take it because it takes me away from global life to which level I have raised my work values through much personal sacrifices. I now help migrants raise their work to the maximum status level possible in their environment and then urge them to work for money and not status. Any extra goes towards ownership. Until then there is no conflict because we have a money relationship and not status relationship. It`s an internal mental limit that prevents revenge attacks such as those of the Tamil Tigers and other armed Tamil groups. The more we expect status from those who appoint government through common race based faith, the greater the risk of defeat and therefore depression and or revenge attacks labeled terrorism by those who discriminated against minority races .

Those of us who have invested in higher positions, beyond money and status benefits, have the moral authority to work through those positions. You in turn have the responsibility to become a facility for us instead of administering us. I applied for your position knowing that I would not win it. I felt that I had earned the authority of that position and hence I applied so you could use some of my wisdom and you would if you are truly seeking. That`s ownership value. We would work the system anywhere as if we were the United Nations. That is the great value of my ownership work.

The more you become a facility for those who have invested in your position, beyond what you can `give` the higher your status which would automatically include those who have effectively devolved themselves from you including the USA and Australia. Given 9/11 and Bali Bombing pains both countries had the responsibility to attend the Anti Racism Summit of the parent body. They desire to be seen to be leading the UN and hence their boycott. They therefore do not have the authority to criticize other groups such as the Tamil Tigers who have also devolved themselves and separated themselves nor the Sri Lankan Government when it hurts its minority on the basis of race. In a country where majority race elect government, racial discrimination happens where merit basis is not strictly followed. Until this race factor is removed, Tamil Tigers cannot be listed as terrorists by those who boycott the UN, unless they are directly affected.

Much of the terrorism and illegal boat refugee problems are due to past karma through racism. Majority races have the responsibility to limit themselves to global laws and maintaining those laws and not punish outside.

At the end of the day, race is only one form of dependence and therefore exploitation. One who has realized independence through a main form of faith, would have realized independence through all paths. I for example feel close to God through Hindu philosophy. But I am able to pray through Our Lady as well as Lord Buddha respectively, when I am in Church and/or Buddhist temple. Likewise Truth and Love. When...

When you are close to Truth / Love through a particular path you recognize other genuine paths.

By not recognizing the importance of racial independence, the USA led group of governments have confirmed that they are not close to independence.

Yours sincerely ,

Madam Gaja,

I have read all your letter. How about writing a farewell letter to Mr. Prabhakaran. I am sure that will be a collectors item.

Laliths,

Madam Gaja,

When did the lunatic become madam in your fickle mind?

I have read all your letter.

You mean this time you read it with faith and hence call me madam? so you do not get punished through your own karma.

How about writing a farewell letter to Mr. Prabhakaran.

Already wrote my letter to him as per my feelings. They seem to have worked for the side who deserved to win through merit basis

I am sure that will be a collectors item.

You sounded sure I was a lunatic

Oh, all the LTTE website singing the tune 'Oh Sun God where did we go wrong'
