TAF may Bring Top Dollars to Sri Lanaka thru Smithsonian Deal...
Sources reaching from New York revels that
Sri Lankan government had approached Christie`s, a leading auction house with offices in NY and London, to get a fair value for the downed TAF Super Stealth Attacker, which is securely stored in a top secret location under the guard of Sri Lanka Air Force (
SLAF), right now.
The Attacker was downed by SLAF fire about a month ago near BIA, the island country`s main international airport. It is believed that SLAF has repaired the aircraft to its old glory with help from foreign experts!
There were speculations among Sri Lanka watchers as to why the government was suddenly interested in valuating this crashed aircraft.
It is believed that Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC, which houses the worlds 1st airplane (1903 Wright Flyer in middle photo), and the plane that dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima (Boeing B-29 Superfortress `Enola Gay`), has secretly made a request to Sri Lankan government to acquire the TAF Super Stealth Attacker (top photo) that was downed near KIA...
During this financial crisis, it is believed that GOSL is seriously considering the Smithsonian request as it could bring a staggering sum of US Dollars to the country...
If GOSL could get a good payment, it is believed GOSL may withdraw its $1.9 Billion loan application from IMF.
