Though the current population in Tamil Eelam depends on who you ask, it is interesting to see how densely populated Tamil Eelam is.

If one believes in GOSL, the current TE population is about 70,000. But if on believes in LTTE numbers, the TE population is 400,000.

If what LTTE says is correct, and if SLA manages to clear up the PTK area and limit the population to security zone, then, the population density of Tamil Eelam will hit a staggering 33,330 persons per Sq Km, thus making Tamil Eelam the most populated area on earth.

For Tamils who believe that Tamil Eelam is an independent country, this would give at least some solace by knowing that a Tamil country would be on the top of the world, by at least in one measure.

Of course, the suffering would be terrible too if the Tamils have to live in this most populated `country` in the world, for too long!
