Majestic City popularly known as `MC`, is one of the first shopping malls in Colombo. It has completed 20 years of existence and now it has become a popular meeting joint for the city folks in the hussle and bussle of Colombo`s city life.
I am sure all of you would have enough experience over there, so please share some of them with us.

in general.... I'm avoiding colombo as much as possible

Many fond memories. I used to meet my fiancee here. Now she is in the USA.
Nice place to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of Colombo City, as you said. Office workers, families, young couples - they all gather here particularly in the absence of Galle Face which is going through reconstruction.
This is a major joint in Colombo but it is about time now the owners consider to open branches of MC in major townships such as Nugegoda, Maharagama, Kaduwela, Panadura and also in Kandy, Kurunegala, Gampaha, Galle etc. People from these heavily populated areas will definitely flock in to those places, as they will not have to come to Colombo all they way. Ramz for example can go to Gampaha or Kandy if he does not want to come to Colombo.
Our entrepreneurs should be more enterprising. Let us hope there will be an MC in Jaffna very soon.

Gone are the days that families have an outing over there.
It's not the right place for fun nowadays.
I happened to go to Unity plaza to purchase some computer parts, usually I pay a visit to MC but not this time after I learnt the bad activities taking place.
