In my view, we should have an open mind about SF.
He has to become a leaders as a politician up holding democratic principals. What we don't want is a Pakistan style military rule.
MR also need to rectify some aspects of his foreign policy in post war scenario.
Ganging up with Muslim countries and alienating the US is not good strategy for Sri Lanka in the long run. US will start meddling with SL affairs with unwanted interests. |

MR did the right thing by not dancing to the beat of US, UK AND oter EU countries like RANIL does. we are proud of MR for that.
we know that the west don't want poor countries to be better than them. That is a fact. we are better off sticking with muslim countries & china who are our real friends than double standards west.
But still we were able to AXE VP & got IMF, GSP plus etc.etc. |

You didn't understand what I meant. MR had the correct foreign policy during the war.
But in post war scenario MR needs to modify his foreign policy to suite the prevailing environment.

In essence we don't want anyone to meddle with our affairs.
It is no secret that SF has some US backing. |

SF can call 7th Fleet any time....! If needed, Obama can even deploy troops in Colombo and move the war front from Afghanistan to Sri Lanka...! |

This is not the time for a 'regime change' in Sri Lanka. Yes, there are short comings with the current administration (i.e., corruption, etc). But, fare more important things are stake in Sri Lanka.
At least MR speaks Tamil...! He is the known devil...! |
