Second, why most of people are trying to become politicians at any cost? For the power and opportunity become rich. If anyone wish to develop Sl. They must promote professionals to get into politics.
You are correct again. In Sri Lanka's case, things used to be somewhat different. Now, the Indian 'model of politics' has been adopted. We need experienced and smart technocrats in the government who can take the country forward (as Singapore did). Not politicians and their political appointees (and relatives) running the ministries vital for country's well being. Once again, WITHOUT an independent strong judiciary and a police force that is not subject to political interference, none of this will happen. |

The politicians will live in the poor peoples money.
The Monks will play the same old 'Bana',but nobody will listen to them.
The JVP Idiots (Patriots)will open their filthy mouth like the ducks (Bak-Bak).
The same story will go on for ever.
The Country will go for dogs and Rajapaksa will sing 'Namo Namo matha' and Saraath Pons will loose his own dignity.
