Do you know Mervin was a UNP MP under Ranil's leadership too???
two points....
First, what that has to do with presidential election. Not only him, many keep changing camps time to time. Itis OK to change camp if they can really do something.
Second thing, two wrongs don't make one right. whether he was under Ranil or not, kick him out. Set an example. |

You don't make any sense. He is the leader of UNP, but he does not contest for presidential election. He will contest for general election, but as usual people will not vote for him. clear?
freelancer make sense a bit. if ranil gonna come to the PE he will be lost like a dog . he knows it well so his motive is to come in da parliment. so he will be voted as the priminister by the MP's .who cares about ppls VOTE?..he only needs his dirty tricks of getting the UNP's vote and racial elements vote. thats it. |

| Mervin is a charactor who shouldnt be in da parliment. unfortunaltely these types of stooges been tolerated by UNP and the present . this the culture of sri lankan politics No point of blaming which side he is representing now. we have to change this election system. BTW who created this Political system? mahinda? was ranil a cabinet member in that time? |

Wonder how Ranil is the leader of UNP so far?
What makes you so sure that UNPers will accpet SF as their leader ??
So technically, it is a dream for him for the time being.
realisticaly sf being a president is also a dream for the time being. |

Who started Jumbo cabnets? Premadasa UNP
Who started attacking Supreme court Judges? JRJ UNP
Who started thugs in elections UNP since the inception of that party.
SLFP observes, waits and when in power, do the above stuff worst than UNP... simple as that? |

Yes, due to three reasons.
1. UPFA has yet to prove all those allegation with proper evidence.
2. when Sf was the commander, who handle those budget related issues? I am yet to learn that a commander was given money to buy military hardware.
3. If UPFA knew that he was corrupted, why didn't they fire him?
All that proves, thee are neither transparent in handling public property nor responsible. case closed !! |
