Since the jumbo cabinet will be one of the major election issues the Ranil camp will bring
Hikz.. Fonseka has already promised cabinet portforlios to UNP, JVP, TNA, Mangale, Mano Ganesan and and god knows who else..
We ll sit with TNA in Ranil s caretaker cabinet JVP
http://www.island.lk/2009/11/20/news1.html
The JVP says it is not apprehensive about being part of the same Cabinet as its b te noire, the Tamil National Alliance, dubbed in Parliament as the mouthpiece of the LTTE, in the event of a caretaker government being formed with UNP Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe as Prime Minister.
So Jumbo Cabinet will not be an election issue.. |

All traitors have flocked together, coming colours no good for Sri Lanka.
On the one hand we got big issues with the present Gov, no doubt, that said look what we have got on the other hand, downright traitors, the supposed to be leader has got one foot here and other in the US, and one goes flying out of the country carrying tails to those blue eyed blond Vikings, and one is still trying to divide the country for his brothers and sisters, and the rest are not even worth mentioning.
One cannot dispute the fact that MR he is a true patriot he did not betray the people, he fought eye & tooth from those western powers who tried to dictate terms to us to stop the war, SF and his band of supporters can stand on their heads and say that SF was solely responsible for liberating the country, thats a load of crap and everyone knows that it was team effort, but all hats off for the president for not crumbling under western pressure and for not ending the war to please the white man.
Is that all going to change, will we be back in square one giving pooja to the white man if these very unhealthy alliance mange to come to power? Only time will tell. IMO crooks & corrupt politicians could be disciplined, traitors are those one must fear. |

JVP on war crimes..
The leading student body in Sri Lanka has admitted that it did not protest when human rights violations were committed against Tamil students during the long conflict between the security forces and the LTTE.
The pro JVP Convenor of the Inter University Student Union (IUSF) told journalist KS Udayakumar that the biggest student union in Sri Lanka had to 'keep quite' while students were abducted and killed in a period of war against 'separatist terrorism'.

Today JVP is going into an alliance with UNP who burnt Rohana Wijeweera alive in Boralla cemetry..

come up with facts
Idiot.. you come up with facts first when accusing MR or any other person on corruption..
We all know who Iqbal Athas is..
He is the one who rediculed Sarath Fonseka for his failures in battle..
Go and read some of his articles..
As for the Aston Martin..
Cant you remember who the real owner of that vehicle was..
This is all mud slinging..
Come up with one fact before accusing others.. |

Freelander2,
IF SF wins (along with Ranil, Mangala, JVP & TNA allies), how will the next admnistration be better than what Sri Lanka has now? It will be a prolonged period of political instability. NOTHING will get done. You might as well sign off the southern half of the island to the Chinese and the northern half to India. Who would really benefit if Sri Lanka continues on the path of political infighting and monkey business as usual? Yes, Rajapakse really needs a house cleaning. Starting with Mr. 10%. But, surely, this is not the way to go. Sarath Fonseka should know better. Unless, of course, this is what he has to do to save his Green Card.

Slmate,
Please educate me a bit, was SF in charge of money matters or conducting the war? I have never known in any country that a General is in charge of a budget for military expenditure. You know what, I do not know single thing about the man, but know that he did not have the opportunity to misappropriate public funds. But on the other hand, the government ministers do have that opportunity! |
