PeacemakerSri- MR had the correct forign policy during the war & still ok to keep US & UK in arm distance.IF we depend on them too much they will break us apart. We have a very powerful true friend like china.

Only US and UK can only intervene when our heroes become traitors for personal gain.
Most of people in Sri lanka know about the game they are playing to divide the country. People SL will give an answer to US and to the rest of the world on the 23rd Jan , so USA cannot do a thing about it. USA cannot rule the word forever. Emperors rise and fall & it's in the world history.

We shouldn't have any personal prejudice against any country as long as they don't interfere in our affairs.

Remember JR Jayawardena's foreign policy caused us so many problems.

The most effective foreign policy we had was during Mrs B Govt in 60s & 70s.

Peace, commerce and honest friendship with all nations, entangling alliances with none...

Now is the time for Sri Lanka to walk alone, as it has always said it wanted to. Let the world witness what SL does or does not do. Sri Lanka alone is responsible for its strength, weakness, growth or decline. Let the world watch and witness!

MR has realize that people has lost confidence of his government...which made him to go to a PE..haveing two more years in balance.

Late Elections results clearly show how people go away from MR coalition.

four years of war theory gave legislators enough time to frame out a solution after war....which did not materialised...some not expected even.

what SF did is not correct but MR is going to loose two years of presidency, a return of what he did to CBK.

Hehehe..

JVP has lost it's little say after deciding to join hands with UNP... Has they forgotten the party (UNP) they are joining set the whole country into chaos.., the millenium city betrayal, and loosing 14 elections consecutively..and mostly the CFA, giving 1/3rd of the country to a barbarian set of terrorists to rule?????

And Gen SF is joining them...

One don't have to predict the next outcome of the Prez Elections...

Most Gen SF lost his reputation by joining the 'paraya' UNP party..
Now SF can go to Pamankada with the UNP loosers instead of going to Medawachchiya to start his political campaign..

hehehehehe

The fact of the matter is that there was never a golden age of democracy, equality, humanitarian rights, good governance or freedom in Sri Lanka. What exactly was so great about previous administrations? Obviously, these refer to prosperity enjoyed as slaves under the divine colonials, racial harmony during the summer of 83, as well as political stability under burning tires and all the anti corruption measures during the Norwegian sponsored CFA!

So yeah...Welcome the change and let the anti MR coalition restore the democratic credentials to their former glory.., cry me frigging river!!

Never again will Sri Lanka become the whore of choice for colonials and their terrorist interests. Nor will it be reviled, plundered, demonized and held in contempt, after these have taken place, only to be abandoned to its so-called destiny. Never again!

That said, here's an idea to fight corruption and one for the manifesto of SF: Bribe the corrupt people to make them selfless!

Caretakers are much more easily corrupted than owners. The government is a caretaker for the people. The solution is simple, if not easy to promise: create a stateless society and get ready for the revolution, instead!
