Trip to Kataragama - Oct 2009.

Sunday, 8 November 2009 - 6:48 PM SL Time

These are some of the pixs from our trip to Kataragama. We saw the new developments that are going on in the south. Specially, the Hambanthota Harbour project. It is massive. But, I understand that lots of sub-contracts are handed over on for `Something` in return.
Now, these are the thing that our President has to look into and put a stop to it. He might have the best of intentions but the people around him are making the big bucks. These are the people who would bring the Presidency down. That is the word on the street.

The weather in the south was unbearable. It was hovering around the 40s at noon. Water and an AC is a must. It was unusual weather for October in Sri Lanka. We had no rain at all. May be global warming is here to stay.

Nice photos Lalith ayya,,, you look great with the sarang kote in the 1st pic,,,heheheh

Hambantota destrict is usually very hot and dry ,,,,, after MR came to power i think it got worse ...heheeh wink wink :):):):)

Badulla, Ampara, Hambantota Destrict recently went through some dryness issue,,,,, home they get some rain sooner, but not flood....

Lalit ayya,,,,did you get the chance to see so-called RAjapaksha palace in Deniyaya and other areas?????

as you said,,
6 months from WAR victory,, seems rajatuma still living in victory joy and did nothing to country during 6 months... and jokers around him do well to put him down..... he should be aware and change the things around now, not later, if he wants to stay in power,,,,,
