Young Sri Lankan asylum-seekers look out from the Australian Customs and Immigration Fishiries Patrol vessel anchored off Indonesia`s Riau Island of Tanjung Pinang on October 27, 2009. An Indonesian provincial governor refused on October 27 to allow the Australian customs vessel to unload 78 Sri Lankan asylum-seekers, saying Indonesia is not a dumping ground for refugees. The Oceanic Viking customs boat has been anchored about 14 kilometres off Kijang, on Bintan island opposite Singapore, for more than a day accompanied by an Indonesian navy warship.

| There were Tamils who wanted the war to continue. They used it to migrate to other countries. LTTE used these migrated people to raise money. Now it seems that they have understood that this could be the last chance to migrate to a western country. That is why an increasing number of Tamils try to get through. |

| These are rich tamils and close relatives of Peelamists. Look at there faces. They are those had real rich and posh lives uner LTTE. Donot look like the people from iDP camps. This is a well organised crime and those responsible must be punished. |

Tamils are not poor people. they are hardworking and earn a lot even if they do farming. They are now fleeing SL simply because there is no security for their lives as NE is occupied by sinhala armed forces! They are not going out of SRI LANKA NOT FOR MONEY |

Sooner or later Australia too would learn a lesson very harshly about these bogus asylum seekers.
They are not going out of SRI LANKA NOT FOR MONEY
Tamil Nadu is much closer. They do not want even to land in Indonezia. They like Australia or Canada only!! |
