According to our Singapore correspondent, Chief of Defense staff Gen.Sarath Fonseka who left SL on the 24th on a tour of America and other countries has met UNP and opposition Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe in Singapore yesterday night (25)

The meeting has taken place at the Crown Plaza Hotel in the vicinity of the Singapore Airport, the report further stated.

While Gen. Fonseka s name is hitting news headlines as a prospective candidate for the next Presidential election, the Govt. through the Army media spokesperson made an announcement that such news using the names of Army chiefs is a maneuver to create a rift between the govt. and the Army officers, and therefore legal action will be filed against those who publish such news. Meanwhile, the meeting between Gen. Fonseka and Ranil Wickremesinghe amidst this Govt. stir and anxiety has sparked speculations that this meeting can have an impact on the future political destiny of the country.

Incidentally, just prior to Gen. Fonseka s departure from the country, JHU leader M.P. Ellawala Medhananda Thero and Uduwe Dhammaloka Thero had a meeting with him for about an hour.

Strange bedfellows these two men: RW & SF!
RW & his UNP accused SF of war crimes during the terrorist war with ltte tiger butchers.
RW suggested that the SLDF & the President Rajapaksha be taken to the International Human Rights Commission...
Who was his 'target'???
In the event(!) that SF wants to come forward as the future Presidential candidate, his dream will melt down in front of RW....
Although RW has lost so many elections and is considered incapable, he still wants to 'try' another election before going to the forest to become an 'ascetic'!
If SF wants to keep his 'cap' till his death, he should keep away from politics or better, from RW!
RW is a 'crook' and can take fire under water, as we say here!

Mas kanna onaa wunahama kabarayath thalagoyek wenawaa!!

RW is not a crook, rogue or cheat. Taking fire under water is just a dream for RW. If RW was able to do all that he would have been the president by now and the UNP would have been in power by now!

RW's absolute incapability is testified by he and the UNP losing 18 elections in consequence. RW is simply incapable of doing anything and is absolutely useless as a leader or a politician.

Why can't Traitor Ranil meet Sarath Fonseka in Sri Lanka??
Why do these great patriots have to meet on foreign soil??

Traitor Ranil allowed Anton Balasingham to enter Killinochchi in a sea plane violating all Sri Lankan immigration procedures!

Now this same Traitor Ranil has to run in to Sigapore to meet Sarath Fonseka......whom Traitor Ranil accused of being a War Criminal.

We the Gamiya's of Sri Lanka ensure the victory of President Mahinda Rajapaksa, no matter who the UNP backed candidate is!

We are ready for Sarath Fonseka, Traitor Ranil, Sarath Silva, Mangala Samaraweera or anyone else.

President Mahinda Rajapaksa who freed our nation from 30 years of Terrorism will win every future election.

If Sarath Fonseka comes forward instead of Traitor Ranil, we the Gamiya's of Sri Lanka will show how Traitor Ranil is a better politician than Sarath Fonseka.

Mahinda Rajapakse is most cunning, most venemous and most oppotunistic politicians that we have witness lately because he arranged secret-deals with LTTE and make believe the gullible public of an non-existing 'Ali Koti Giwusum'. When the war victory actually belongs to all the men of the forces, President Rajapakse viciously wants to make political mileage at the sacrifice of these brave soldiers. Even during the height of war, He kept provincial elections and exploited all the military victory to win the provincial elections while misusing the taxpayer money to maintain his power. Ranil is definitely a weak leader because he cannot deceive the people with promises that he cannot keep. Mahinda Chintana is something that has promised mountains while delivered vertually nothing. This government went to war under pressure from 'Hela Urumaya and JVP'. Sarath Fonseka's determined intention to annihilate the LTTE, helped the country eliminate terrorism. The people of this country know who is the best crook.

Sarath Fonseka may be the best Commander we had. It does not justify his capability as a stateman.

Whole nation know about the capacity of current President as a stateman.

If he (SF) go against the President then it will reveal his greediness and misuse of popularity he got after commanding the war under the great leadership of the President.

Why he cannot realise Ranil is a political Virus danger than AIDS which put anyone to political death in no time if contacted.

Traiter Ranil doing all the damage to the nation until his demise. This time he is destroying and erasing a great soldier from our history books.

When JR & Premadasa were in powere where was the oppostition, they came up after loosing vehemently, like wise my friends do not under estimate the UNP. UNP will come to power when he poeple realise that they are in the castle built in the air. Who would want to use cheap characters (Anaarkali) to gain political mileage like the Rajapashe Samagama

UNP will come to power

It is not a problem of UNP coming to power, but why we let our country to go on a destructive pathway. After much time we have found a leader who like to control all Sri Lanka and who knows each and every aspect of Sri Lanka. It is very clear that extreme political parties want to destabolise the country by any means!

I come from a very strong SLFP family. But this time, our mind is made up.
WE WILL VOTE SF (backed by UNP and JVP and the grand colition) to abolish Executive presidency and eradicate corruption from Slanka.

For a corruption free slanka, VOTE SF. For economic development, vote SF. Our beloved war hero WILL BE the next National hero.
