Aravinda was accused of throwing the match
Berty Bro,
I remember, it was both Arjuna and Aravinda, both of whom were accused but the duo were cleared as there was no proper evidence.
It was the same Gupta (Bookmaker involved with Hansie Cronje, Manoj Prabhakar) who had approached Aravinda.
Gupta and Azharuddin had a close relationship and Aravinda had by then (Indian tour) had become a good friend of Azhar.
So i had a slight feeling that, Aravinda might have been involved here but he came out a 'Mr. Clean' most probably because of Arjuna.

Berty Bro,
I don't think Marvan would have been anyway involved in match fixing.
This inquiry came to a halt, because after Marvan checked out there were a couple of guests who had occupied the same room. |
