Deepavali, the festival of lights, is celebrated by Hindus all over the world with pomp and pageantry. However, according to sociologists, the lamps that were lit in the ancient days during the North-East monsoon season to keep away the dark gloomy atmosphere in the Indian subcontinent had later turned into a festival with the addition of the spiritual touch.

The above picture is from the Temple of Nallur, the capital of Jaffna Kingdom. The Lord Murukan is returning to the Temple after the Chariot festival. The green symbolizes the wealth and prosperity of Tamils. Nallur Murukan, known as 'Alankara Kanthan' means the lord of exquisite adornments.
The Sinhala Veerayass looted many Hindu Temples in the North East for gold and precious metals. The looting of Thiruketheeswaram Temple by the Sinhala Veera Soorayas is well documented, and the Temple authorities wrote many petitions to the Sinhala government but they didn't take any action. But the Hindus in India, and around the world, think the Sinhala Buddhists don't hate Hinduism or destroy and desecrate the Temples in Sri Lanka, because once in a while their leaders do the Hindu Temple hoping in Tamil Nadu to get rid of their sins of killing the innocent Tamil children.
The Tamil children are locked up in Sinhala concentration camps without a change of clothes, and the Sinhalese are supporting the action. At the same time they have the audacity to come and say Happy Diwali to Tamils. Is this some kind of sarcasm? I guess the Sinhalese have no sense of morality. The Buddhism and the teachings of Buddha has failed miserably in the failed state of Sri Lanka.

What is Deepavali ?
What is this light that they talk?
Who over powered the dark and light the lamps?
It is again about a war between Sri Lanka and and India.
It is about the Rama Rawana war.
It is about rescue operation that Rama did to rescuer Sitha from Rawana. It is a monkey who helped in this rescue operation. That is all about this Light and the dark.
It is again a war between two nations.
At that time Sri lanka Rawana was so powerful and he owned air crafts.
