No coup, but Pons may be a Presidential candidate. The Sinhala Buddhist vote will be split in two on caste lines. Goigama Rajapakse vs. Salagama Pons. Tamil and Muslim votes could decide who wins. Both candidates will make promises to minorities. Rajapakse is a proven liar. Is Pons more truthful?
