tamil nadu ruling MPs visited the island and praised colombo of the handling the war and the post war situation.

Friend the Secretary of State for International Development and I would like to inform the House about the Government`s ongoing active engagement in Sri Lanka following the end of the conflict almost five months ago between the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) and the Government of Sri Lanka.

When I visited Sri Lanka with French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner in April our three areas of focus were to:

urge the Government and LTTE to minimise the humanitarian impact of the then ongoing hostilities and to improve conditions for internally displaced persons (IDPs)

to call for a strengthening of the rule of law to address human rights concerns

Here we see some tamilnadu MPs seems to be so happy in the company of a war criminal...

at the end of the day....war crime is a war crime ...no matter who you fight with....

surely this visit will not buy these MPs votes...if so then what for??

legitimizing the Tamil kill??

the TNA which represent the people locked up behind the barwires are not allowed to visit those people...but the MPs from tamilnadu are allowed..

very strange....and do not add up!

This is just diplomatic behaviour.

When the head of state happens to be low life Mahinda ... yes .

This is just diplomatic behaviour.
When they get home they'll talk all bad.


I dont see the use of these people visiting, however lets wait :)

Delhi denied freedom for the eelam tamils in the name of VP...now deny the same using MR....in the grand game... india try s to save the war lord MR .....

TN is used as a pawn in the game time to time....to weaken the aspirations of the eelam tamils and to insult both...TN tamils and eelam tamils.

we will sure to see many more dramas like this in the near future..

i do not know ....what these MPs from TN know what they are doing....

no...this is well out of order.....a hand shake for a photo should do normally....

look at the picture....the MPs seems to be,,,very relaxed and smiling in the company of a war criminal...
