Ranil during his short term of two years, brought down the inflation from 12% to 3% and increased the rate of growth from -1% to 7%, in addition to implementing broad based public sector reforms and saving nearly 500,000 lives (sinhala, tamil, muslim) which would have been otherwise lost due to the bloody war. Ranil is above any allegation of corruption or nepotism. That makes Ranil a much better leader than junta brothers. |

IT is proven in the West that more roads had increased the congestion.
More vehicles mean more problems.
Mass transit should be the popular method. I think, Japan may be a better example. |
