Yes, we all know that LTTE has 2 or three previously captured armed tanks.

But why is this photoshop job?

The SLA soldier in the photo seems to be totally unaware that an LTTE BMP-1 is just passing him with full of action! LOL!

And the Monkey who has been placed on top of the tank looks like getting a Blow Job from a one below. Perhaps Renagade is inside the Tank.

---------------------

Man a whole load of bullsh!t all because the moron doesn`t know how to zoom in to a photo :):):)

And we have seen so many photos in the past of LTTE fighters wearing the same combat helmets and uniforms.

So who looks like a butt sniffing monkey right about now Mr. `NOLTTE=peace`???

Anyway just proves my earlier comments, any photo is `photoshoped` for these tribal morons.

No doubts and this is a LTTE battle tank. And the soldier on the road is LTTE and they are in Dharmapuram. This is good moral booster for diaspora for few more days as they are down as never before.

Revy,
What do you think about this comment:

Violated said...

The tigers say they deployed a battle tank on the 16th:
http://www.tamilnet.com/art.html?catid=13&artid=28036

I'm not an expert on these things but i think Tamilnet forgot to edit the metadata on that photo:
http://bayimg.com/caNCLAaBa

It says picture taken on the 13th.

Who are welcome to right click tamilnet image, save it to desktop and check the metatag yourself (unless TN editors manually change the date to 16th after realizing their mistake)

From DN.

I argued with channai about this and he said it was because those images were uploaded from computers with different dates and times.

But the metatag is not placed on the image by computer. It's placed by the camera. So whatever time you see in the 'date taken' field is set by the camera and is independent of the date/time settings on any computer or other device.

Both the photo of the dead soldier and the battle tank were shot with the same camera (NIKON D70S). Why the diffeent dates?

My guess is that BMP-1 was never used in a battle as TN claim. It was photographed separately and posted along with several photos of actual Dharmapuram battle.

Forget bashing revy, we all have to admit the talk in defence blogs is pretty hillarious at times. I mean comeon how dumb are they to believe DW getting it wrong when they said F7 pilots were going home at 5???

Here's a recent one.

Moshe Dyan said...

patriots,

a HIGHLY controvercial idea.....

background
1. SLDFs are on very high moral ground with regards to LTTE

2. SLDFs are on high moral ground with regards to peaceful tamil elamists

proposal
SL has a very high suicide rate. according to GOSL stats, about 6,600 ppl a year. WHO puts it double that number. -55 are the bulk and men are the majority.

suicides have killed more ppl than the war in SL!!! (believe it or not)

so there are at least 2,000 men of 'war-going' age among those who needlessly kill themselves every year.

why not we get them to the SLA to perform HIGHLY dangerous work???

rapid deployment IN TO battle areas is the key. they will have money and dignity. if they want to 'make a statement' still fine.
they can make it meaningfully.

marketing for it should be done carefully.

WTF anyway they die most senselessly. why not for a noble cause???
they may not die after all and can live with difnity thereafter with no cost burden on the society.

And whenever one tries to correct them and show their way of thinking is wrong then they gang up and bring parents into the discussion. How pathetic!!

The problem is everyones an expert and no one bothers to learn something new.

Samadi,

I dont think the tank is on fire. its just exhaust fumes. I heard before that these war machines are supposed to smoke a lot because the exhaust plume can be used as a smoke screen so that the enemy cant get a clear shot at it.

This is for you revy. looks like the ltte cant even be bothered to accept their dead these days. probably because they cant come out OR they dont have enough ground to bury their dead????? What a plight!!

3FAlpha,

First, as far as I know you can set the time and date on a computer or a camera. Period.

Secondly I checked and it says : Created : 16/01/2009

Thirdly it indicates it was taken with a NIKON D70S so I don't think it has been PHOTOSHOPPED !!

3SF Alpha, in all fairness the caption to the photo says a 'battle tank' (wrong BTW it is an APC) used by tigers at Tharmapuram front, so while photo may be from a few days ago, the fighting there has been on going the last few days.

My point was this is indeed an LTTE BMP-1 and not some photoshop as the defenceblog geniuses tried to make out.

----

Su dear, well what to say ICRC says they don't have a point to transfer the bodies, I suppose this also applies to SLA bodies captured by the LTTE too.
