Sri Lanka Army Commander visits Jaffna

Army Commander Lt. Gen. Sarath Fonseka visits Jaffna. Its aim was to salute the war heroes who had achieved consequent successes in humanitarian operations in the past few days.
On arrival at the Palali Airport this morning, the Army Commander was welcomed by Jaffna Commanding Officer Major General Mendaka Samarasinghe. Thereafter, addressing Army officers of all ranks at the indoor stadium, he apprised them of the future operations and the plans. Former Security Forces Commanding Officer of Jaffna Major Genral G.A. Chandrasiri and many Army Officers were present. The Army Commander seized the opportunity to extend his gratitude to the war heroes who risked their lives in achieving many victories in the past few days.

that is good.. we should not forget them.. they fought for us.. I m sure he must have given a quite a effective speech.. he will go down in history as one of the best army commanders we had.. |

Whatever he has done in the past, Major General Sarath Fonseka is doing a GREAT SERVICE to the country in eliminating tiger terrorism.
SRI LANKA had many Presidents, some very powerful, since tiger terrorists grabbed a part of our country. As Commanders of the SRI LANKA DEFENSE FORCES, they did not strike effectively to eliminate this tiger plague. Instead, these people filled their pockets and foreign bank accounts with poor tax payers' hard earned money.
Time has changed now.
SRI LANKA now has a powerful Executive President, an effective Defense Force, modern weaponry and above all, a high will power to beat tiger terrorists!
What SRI LANKA now needs badly is the support of all citizens of the country as well as all political parties to combat terrorism.

| Did he visit Jaffna as freely as ordinary citizens did during 2002 to 2004? Did he visit without 1000 bodyguards? During 2002 to 2004, Jaffna was visited by ordinary slankans by thousands. Not even a fly was killed during that period. |

Please let him do what he has started before going on retirement!

Why the hell are we calling these tiger terrorists as R E B E L S ??
They are 100% hard core terrorists bent on destruction of all civilized population and National Property of S R I L A N K A !
We must have the guts to call a terrorist... a terrorist and not otherwise! |
