According to Daily News, Chenni has become the lastest destination for unskilled slankan construction workers. The first batch of 1000 people from Hambantota was sent to Chennai to work as labourers. Poor Slankans are now going even to Chennai to work cos Slankan economy is down the drain and the drain is controlled by a mafia gang. What a sorry state of affairs. The country that was the shining example in South asia during UNP times is now the basketcase not second to Zimbabwe.
