hikz you mean these puindians?
Indian housemaids and other domestic helps are working in 'often distressing' conditions in West Asia, Commissioner for NRI Affairs (Goa) Eduardo Faleiro said after a visit to Kuwait and Qatar.
'We received complaints of physical torture and abuse, non-payment of salary for several months and filing of false cases against them,' Faleiro, a former Indian minister of state for external affairs, said after last week's visit

Paawam...
Seneviratne says the problem areas are the western coastal belt and the poverty-stricken Uva province, from where around 900,000 women have gone abroad. Around 85 per cent of them are married. Says psychology lecturer at Colombo university, Tilak Hettiarachchi, 'In most cases, what happens is that once the wife starts sending money from abroad, the husband gives up his job and hits the bottle. With the man spending most of his time at home, the girl child becomes the victim of this changed lifestyle.'
Fourteen-year-old Nilmini, who is undergoing rehabilitation at a home for teenage pregnant mothers run by the NGO, Sarvodaya, in Lunawa near the capital Colombo, was raped by her father while her mother was abroad. After her mother left the country, Nilmini stopped going to work and did all the household chores. That's when her father started abusing her sexually. The cruelest part is that last November she gave birth to her own father's son. PEACE has initiated a project to help such children in Badulla district in Uva province

hikz hikz read foreign buero stats beggar lolz
The percentage of tamils in the country is even smaller than 12%.Almost all the domestics in Colombo are now Indian tamils. Singhalese , JT and Muslim domestics are now very rare and the few that remain are quite old. This is because the poorer sections of the other communities find jobs overseas or work in factories, where they get regular salaries, medical cover and EPF. many factories also provide lunch, so the workers do not take extended lunch breaks. All my domestics( except for the driver)are now Indian Tamils and there are so many of them in Colombo 7 right now that members of families working at different houses arrange to meet in some Colombo hindu temples as set times. When I was a kid we had Singhalese,Jaffna tamil domestics and of course many Indians. We once had a Burgher maid working when my father was posted overseas. But now its almost only Indian tamils.
the Bureau of Foreign Employment and you will see that Tamils are over represented as maids. Tamils are around 12.6% of the SL population but forming more than 30% of the Sri Lankan maids.
Add to that figure all the Tamil maids working in houses in down south Sri Lanka.
The Brits knew Tamils made the best slaves which is why they brought them to Sri Lanka and Malaysia to pluck tea leaves and tend to rubber trees.
No other South Asian group was used like that.

The Sri Lankan men are lazy lay-abouts who send their wives off to work in the Middle East and other insalubrious places as domestics. The money these women return to Sri Lanka is a substantial portion of that country's overseas trade.
Meantime, the men back home want female company. And so, and let us not get coy about this, they f their daughters.
Wat a Nation ? Are they not Shamed to be called as Buddhists NAtion?
