These morons who talks about Geneva convention...????? LMAO..
Who killed thousands of surrendered soldiers in Mullaitivu camp and burned them...?????
Samadi,
Exactly, the LTTE burned them because the GOSL refused to accept the bodies to reduce the head counts. And they didn' t want to pay the compensation for their loved ones.
The LTTE burned them according to the Geneva convention with proper Buddhist rites and full military honor. Many NGO's mentioned that when the Sinhalese were parading the mutilated bodies of Tamil men and women on the streets of Anuradhapura to satisfy the subhuman necrophilia tendency of the Sinhala Buddhists.
You can even search the google for the pictures. The LTTE covered all the Sinhala armies dead bodies with white clothes and with full military honour and cremated them. We Tamils are very proud of LTTE for the respect they gave it to those Sinhala soldiers.
Where possible, the burial or cremation is to be done in accordance with the religious rites of the deceased. The bodies are to be grouped according to nationality and the cemeteries mapped in such a way as to make later exhumation easier. This is the core of the Geneva Convention duty to the dead they are to be treated honorably and their graves protected.

If you are a true believer of Sai Baba, you never hate anyone.
No you love all. Are you saying it to me or to yourself? Sai Baba has endorsed again and again that I practice His message. So I take it that you are saying this to yourself?

Mr. Putin,
I do not demand piece of any country.
Don't you own your own home?
Where ever you live, you face some discrimination against your race, colour...etc.
Yes. It's the duty of every democratic citizen to fight against unjust discrimination. Otherwise the nation lags behind and deteriorates.
You can fight against it but you can not eliminate 100%.
You can in your own mind and therefore in the minds of all those who are within you. They are your world for any issue.

Thiviya/Gaja
You obviously have no knowledge of the Convention, Treaties, Protocols, Declarations etc other than what you may have read in the newspapers or on the internet and you equally obviously have no legal training.
The Convention is between countries. There is a list of signatories and each signatory is a country.
The Convention is not between warring parties (unless they are signatories) or terrorists and the governments that they wish to overthrow. And not all countries have signed all the protocols either.
The most recent example of this is USA's definition of 'enemy combatants' and thereby, they ensured the GC did not apply to what they were doing. Contrary to what the great unwashed masses might think there was good legal premise to do that.
You seem to have a simplistic superficial view so unless you willing to do the research and study, I suggest you stick to what you know.
Thiviya, as I said the other day, I don t have the time nor the inclination to educate you on matters of International Law and I am not here at LNP at your beck and call. So you can think what you want but I will reply at my choosing and only if I wish to address you. You and Gaja etc are pretty insignificant part of my world and if you think I am going to engage in any meaning ful discussion with either one of you , you over-estimate your intellectual attractiveness.
PS. You may wish to consult Bruce Fein on this matter......
