I just ask a question. Some of Tamils in Canada and Australia worship VP. I,m sorry, if i hurt your feelings.
If you need to know my feelings on this - you have all the material you need, in this forum. But since you have said sorry - I want to share with you the summary of that material.
To me Sai Baba is God on earth. As per direct information available to me - VP does not have faith in Sai Baba.
VP leads the Tamil side that is against the Sinhalese State that is hurting Tamils. As Lasantha Wicrematunge quoted - we must participate through any avenue available to us - otherwise when they come for me - there would be no one to speak out for me:

First they came for the Jews
and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for the Communists

and I did not speak out because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for me
and there was no one left to speak out for me.

The Sri Lanka Army plans to raise two more task forces to aid in Mullaithivu battle. Task Force 5 and Task Force 6 will be deployed in addition to 53, 55, 57, 58, 59 , TF2, TF3 and TF4 already deployed in the Wanni theater of battle. Meanwhile Task Force 1 has now officially been raised as the 58 division in recognition for its invaluable contribution in the Kilinochchi, Paranthan battles. More than 50000 soldiers from 10 divisions/Task Forces are expected to join the assault on Mullathivu, the last major stronghold of the LTTE. Some of the formations will be tasked with holding onto captured territory while fully offensive divisions will lead the advance. The army does not want to spread too thin and run into a possible Jayasikuru type scenario again.
Meanwhile 48 bodies of LTTE cadres who were killed in battles in Mullathivu and Kilinochchi are still in Vavuniya hospital. |

Does the Geneva Convention not say anything about this? - the disrespect for death and therefore life of the 'other' side?
