The Chief Justice pointed out that under article 118 of the constitution, the Supreme Court is the superior court of the country and the executive is bound to bow its orders

And who appoints the Chief Justice?

Mr. Brown, sorry to say, but you must inform members that if you are not capable to provide a firm and continues service. You created this forum, and attracted 100s of members.

Under what policy does Mr. Brown have to inform members? Members have to offer their services and wisdom when there is a need. If we have neither - the least we could do is work with the little we have, in appreciation of the opportunities shared through this forum.

Welcome to the largest news forum on Sri Lanka. This is a discussion table for millions of Sri Lankans living around the world to express their thoughts on the latest Sri Lankan news events. Lankanewspapers.com is a powerful tool for all Sri Lankan ethnic groups to share information, knowledge and wisdom.

This is the reason that members have a right to expect a good service.

And if there is a line like this

...But, please expect unexpected breakdowns of the service, which may disturb your discussion.

Then the service will closer to the reality.

We are not talking about a policy. We are talking about the service. Since members are visiting, LNP gets adds or some sort of funds to run it, I think. So, the statements they put to attract members must show the reality of the service they give to members.

LNP is largely a facility that we work ourselves. We develop our own opportunities and use them. So long as the Administration has not acted in breach of policies, we only blame ourselves - the same way we praise ourselves when things go right.

Sri Lanka is also largely a facility. When we recognize this, we would not 'depend' on others but keep working through the avenues already developed.

If Mr. Brown had had policies such as the above, LNP would have closed down long ago.

Or we'll send a white van to pickup Mr. Brown.
