The country will be in lawless state if the executive acts its own way, says Chief Justice Sarath N. Silva at the Supreme Court today (13).
Sri Lankan Chief Justice is talking completely POLITICS. HE should understand that first.
USA appoint Supreme Court justices completely to strengthen the party ideology of the existing govt and the Supreme courts gos with it.
In Sri Lanka, the supreme Court interferes with the govt decisions which they should not do.
Decision about the PETROL prices should not be the Chief justice. |

They are petitioning Obama.. for a ceasefire.. Obama starts on the 20th.. he has said his first job is to attend to the FIDIOT's pettition.. He said screw the US economy...
But the 20th is still a full week away... It will be hard to find a FIGER to offer the ceasefire :)

a Million 3 wheelers can have an extra meal by this saving.
millions of motor bike owners save money.
millions of car owners save money.
these people are also general public.
Except for political reasons, GOSL should not have given any subsidies on petrol. Instead govt should improve the Mass transit.
three wheelers and motorbikes can tolerate Rs. 20 extra price as they don't need lot of petrol.

I will let you on a little secret. There were many Tamils in the Diaspora who had been doing that for two decades, if not longer. It wasn't just the Wanni Tamils, you have the Jaffna, Trinco and Batticaloa Tamils. Even after the Boxing Day Tsunami of 2004, this 'fattening' process didn't stop.
