We have to
look and work as one if we are to solve the minority problems.
That's just it... what I'm speaking of is not a minority problem... over 60%-70% of Sri Lankans live in very bad conditions, those conditions effect everyone, not a certain race. These things stay the same because our economic condition is not the best, it's not the worst either, but for too long have we used the war as an excuse and forgotten these problems that affect everyone. For that I agree we need unity amongst our people, and for that getting rid of the LTTE is the solution. Lets wait and see...
You have good day Alion... Ciao.

| Poor Crabby - his parents told him he's special. His teachers told him he's special. His welfare officer told him he's special. And yet he's stuck in a dead-end job, with a pimple scarred face and no prospects of ever getting laid. White Canadians treat him like dirt but he has to grin and take it because he's scared of them. He thinks Sri Lanka owes him something because he's tamil and he's heard tamils are special. It hurts him so to know that no one is Sri Lanka gives a rats behind about him. See crabby, that's because they all forgot to tell you the word that comes after special..special needs... |

the areas now being targetted by sla is now clearly civviy areas like hospitals and schools
This was the same tactic employed by the SLDF in the East when they indiscriminately bombed the civilians to make them leave the areas they wanted to invade.
The outside world, including India, didn't flinch then and they are not going to complain now. I fear that many civilians are going to die especially when the LTTE decides it was time to fight back.
I am sure many of the civilians are afraid to leave the LTTE controlled areas for fear of being labelled LTTE supporters and tortured and killed by the SLA and the paramilitaries as is happening now to the tamil refugees who crossed over to the govt side earlier.

There is some confusion about why I agreed to explore the federal option in Aani's LNP page. I would like to clarify that. :)))
It is the Indian Govt led by the Congress party which wants 13th amendment for Sri Lanka.
NOrth INdians despise Tamils for not respecting the Simnhala NAtional language of Sri Lanka and they say, everytime when BJP was in the central govt they had better relationships with the Sinhala Buddhist govt of Sri Lanka.

There is not a single ruin of any ancient Tamil Kingdom in Sri Lanka.
Such ruins are abundant in Tamil Nadu (Tamil Country) in India.
So it is natural that any nostalgic expatriate Tamils return to Tamil Nadu to roost while all those who denigrated Sri Lanka to obtain refugee status ( Tamils or otherwise) are welcome with open arms at KAB!
