Looks like Sinhala Christians like Spetznazi & others who hoot for Unitary Sinhala State are gonna feel the Effects sooner !

I & Spet are christians. There are other LNP members too. I consider religion is secondary when my country's security is at stake! But reluctantly I have to agree with you even though I am a christian! Few christians in Sri Lanka thinks they are a separate entity, pity! Intrestingly all those are big buisnessmen! But there are good christians who are/were good patriotic soldiers and fought with the terrorists in North and sacrificed their lives to their motherland!! |

I agree with Deboo and Spentz:) there are some but most people no matter what religion is with SL gov,even tamils have you had a chance to watch minnal in shakthi tv?,what that tamil intellectuals were telling ?they no need a cease fire,they need a end to this war one way or the other,thats the hope of most people other than who want to protect LTTE from extinction for their cheap political gains.
and i guess what Rasak meant was such people

To be frank, Still there is not even a hint of what Political Soln will be given if at all it will be given.
Even the PC given to East is Farce as admitted by Pillaiyan.
So i dont know what is there to think in a diff angle. |

if there is a political solution it wont be as LTTE wanted or the way LTTE supported people whom now need a political solution because they don't have any other option
if we need to give what LTTE wanted from war by a political solution after doing this much of sacrificers we should go crazy,LTTE had enough chances to get decent one ,they left over that,now we are not ready to give political solution to satify diaspora who wanted a eelam by a war,political solution should be directed only toward what are valid issues of tamils,sinhalise,muslims not to make LTTE supported diaspora to happy ,who want Sinhalese people in South should be bombed,and should be killed by suicide attacks.
if LTTE need eelam fight and get it

A large able Army is being developed in SL to counter any peelam like terrorism in the future. additional 50000 soldiers and reserves for SF/STF/COMMANDO units are being recruited.
