You didn't answer my question! How many tamil deaths would there have been if the LTTE did not exist. The '1983 riots' would not have happened. So would it have been more dead tamils or less??
And yes, there were some tamil right issues before 1983, but there are other ways of fighting for rights, rather than picking up a gun and terrorist activities!
In other words, you are repeating exactly what Fonseca said, that we should keep our mouth shut and remain as second class citizens in our own country.
No, i'm saying that you can keep your mouth open, but put down the guns.

Do you think the LTTE terrorists were killed because they fought for 'their rights' or because they had guns in their hand and were shooting at the SLA? Were they killed for their voices or for their violence against Sri Lankans (i.e. bus bombs, assisinations, bank bombings, etc.) Haha! The funny thing is that when the LTTE fighters point a gun at the SLA, i don't think they are preaching about 'tamil rights'! And the same can be said about you, who only talks about killing sinhalese and how tamils own Sri Lanka! Just think about it!
If you pick up a gun and shoot at the SLA, and they kill you... were you killed because you opened your mouth, or because you shot at the SLA??? It's not a tough question! :) |

Who said the Tamils forgot that, why do you think Rajiv is not the Prime minister of India now. :)))
Everyone should remember this comment by Thivya! She writes on her page about how the Rajiv assisination was some kind of cover-up, that the SL gov. was involved, or that the Indian Gov. did it and blamed it all on the innocent peace-loving LTTE. And that Bala's apology was not really an apology but that he just felt 'sorry' about the death of the PM... she argues so much about the LTTE being setup, but when it's convenient for her, she says that Rajiv was killed the LTTE because of IPKF's killing and raping of tamils in SL! Pathetic!
Can we believe anything that she says?? She'll just twist everything around to suit herself. |

so if he is a trouble creator just cos he practices Media Freedom..he should be silenced!! why do we have a court of Law..if what he writes is wrong then sue him..U don't take the law into your own hands and do what people in Colombo don't want to see in their neighborhood..

I understand what you said..but initially what you gave me as what goes around comes around did not make any sense..the guy who kills people get to dance his night out with a girl hanging all over..
If You tell me his time will come to pay for that..i would have accepted..I believe in that very much too..
There is another way to look at it Marksman..this is from our (My wife and I) own experience, we believe when we give to anyone who is in need, it comes back to bless us or our kids..That is what we practice in life..
