when i watch a Match that does not include SL but Australia, I will always favour the opposite side..! so in this case answer to your question obviously Team India..
I hate the arrogance of the Australians!
You know when i was small and in school, i supported West Indies..
I admired the team of the 70's..Loves Sir Vivian Richards
well that time SL was into tests.
When i came to Colombo in 1976 I used to spend most of the weekends watching sara matches..we were living down Park lane..close to where Sunil/Siddath/Nimal (small podiyan) lived.
I love to watch Mendis (my father was a great fan of him)/Anura Ranasinghe/Roy Dias/Kumar Ramanathan/Micheal Tissera was playing for CCC/Bandula and all the bowlers..
I was so sad when D.L.S De Silva died (motor bike accident)
I came to know in LNP that Zaharan bro also was doing the same..who knows we may have been standing next to each other..lolz

Ok OK .. Berty..I accept that it was a tough question. :)
Chennai, don't give a toss about who you support.
Berty is more Sri Lankan than you. The team we support has nothing to do with our sense of patriotism. If your home team does not play by the rules and you support it then you are someone who does not respect the rules and the spirit of the game. The Australian Cricket team are hardly the ambassadors of the Gentleman's Game. Just because they win matched does not mean they are good at it and that AB or any Aussie has to support them.
Besides, India burns their team's homes and effigies when they lose. How patriotic can that be. |

Nope...Indians are more patriotic !
That is why they hate to see India being defeated & hence they take out their anger which is sometimes good Psycologically !
Never they have burnt any homes...
Not like your Guys taking out guns on everyone...

I suppose Andy should have said they throw stones and whatever they have if they see their team loose..
I don't know you remember but that exactly what happened when SL was playing India in 1996 World Cup Semi finals.. |
