Several suicide bombers in Colombo
According to intelligence reports there are close to 117 suicide bombers in Colombo alone, non-cabinet media Minister Lakshman Yapa Abeywardana has stated. He also said that while the security forces are planning the capture of Mullaitivu the people in the South have to be on the alert and brace themselves for more acts of terrorism.

If a whole gang of goons can go with guns and bombs to Pannipitiya, thrash the property and escape unscathed and undetected, cna you actually have any confidence in teh Army chck points ability to stop these much more secretive suicide bombers? How gullible do you think the SL citizenship is?

Another warning. Opposition...tomorrow is your protest. This is an eye opener. If not it's a warning to reduce the atendence by threatning the public. Anyway you are a smart minister on these things. But not on the problems of the nation.

Cat is out of the bag. Ha...ha...ha... 7th is a protest day of opposition...ha...ha..ha... Mahionda

Nobody can stop suicide bombers as we know stil America can not stop suiciders in Afkhanistan and Iraq! Then who can stop in Sri Lanka. You have only one solution to stop that, devolute power and discuss with concern party definitely not with Karuna, Pillayan or Dougles devanandee.

Whenever the opposition plans a large scale demonstration in Colombo, these statements appear. After the demonstration, nothing mention about arrest of these threats or further warning.

LATEST NEWS
LTTE NOW ONLY IN MULAITIVU
The narrowest battleground in Sri Lanka where hundreds fell in previous operations, Muhamalai and Kilali, were captured this afternoon along with elephant pass. Palai still remains uncleared. The 53 and 58 are squeezing in on Palai. LTTE seems to have abandoned the area and retreated.
The 53 Advanced into a 500m2 area initially at Kilali and Muhamalai without much LTTE resistance. The 58, by that time, had reached the lagoon area at EPS.
Meanwhile resistance in Mulaitivu is growing. On 1st January, a massive counter attack broke the 59 Div FDL. 24 Ratha Regiment cadres were killed and another 8 captured, who also later died. 18 soldiers were also killed.
The police Special Task Force and members of the now 41,000 strong Civil Defence Force were deployed to guard the rear of the 59. Fighting is expected to intensify in this area.
TF 3 and 4 are also advancing steadily towards Iranamadu, Puthukudiirippu and Mullayaveli. They will join the 59 in further trapping the LTTE, which is probably 1,000-1,500 strong in Mulaitivu now. |

i aint sure, but people worship Vishnu in Thirupathi, early Tamils were saivites .
Infact even before Aryans came we used to worship shiva, Vishnu/Ram is Aryan god, isnt it ?
Semmozhi,
Thirumal worship started in the Tamil country. Sivaniyam and Maliyam are the Tamil sects but the Aryan settlers took our religion and incorporated with their gods and created these relationships as wife, mother, sons and daughter etc.
The Siva and Vishnu are not Vedic gods they are Tamil's Gods. Aryan's Vedic gods are Indra, Varuna and Agni etc.
Vishnu came from the Tamil word Vinn meaning SKY- blue it means his complexion is blue as sky- Vinn.
