That was today's equivalent of Kili fight!
Such small fights are common in warfare... some win some lose... But, the fact is Sinhalayaas as a whole had not won a major war since 1505 till now!

Pawan,
SA could pull off a win, they need further 237 in 61 overs with 6 wkts standing.
But the pitch looks absolutely terrible! cracks all over the wicket, and today's the temp. will be between 30-40 degrees, so the cracks will widen. |

All the 2 & half yrs gain were lost within a week i believe...
I have to dig up ..
The LTTE lost what it protected for 10+ years with blood, life and endless funds in 48 hours.. :) Jayasikuru losses were are result of thinning out of manpower and the lack of a multi-front coverage.
have you ever gone fishing for guppies in a paddy filed when you were young? We used to and we used to corral them in to a corner from all sides and then pick the ones we want for our aquariums. No room for escape and no chance for them to swing around the flanks and escape/attack...:) |
