Premadasa finally jump in to get some credit. But, Tigers did the job.. that's the first time a foreign army lost a war to a local army.

EElamaya, Eelamaya,

Dont tell lies. in 1767 or some where the Dutch were defeated soundly and in 1797 the British were defeated and chased down to colombo by the Adhigar Migastenne and Meda Mahanuwara Nilame. Remember the British came and tried to occupy kandy and chased down to Colombo.

Ponting does it again..
35.3 McDonald to Kallis, OUT, oh well held, McDonald .. or not? Pitches it up down the stumps, Kallis goes back and starts to turn it to the on side, but the ball takes a leading edge and balloons back up in the air towards the bowler, who flings himself to his right in his follow through and looks like he's taken a stunner ... his team-mates converge but Kallis asks for confirmation, and McDonald admits he's not sure. To the naked eye it looked like he took it, Ponting sticks up a finger even before the umpires are consulted, and after numerous analysis Kallis is adjudged out. Thats a very, very tough call. One angle indicates he took it, the straight view says something else. I'm not convinced he took it.

That was a fight with a small group of men who tried to enter Kande Uda Rata, ordered by the Dutch Governer Gerrit de Heere. That was not a major battle. It was a street fight in 1698. :)))

When are you going to divorce the current one ?

I am sure he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize,... if he stays longer,....

It's good to know that you do not have the maturity to participate in political or intellectual solutions to our crisis. You and Berty stand exposed. - one from each side.

I think this time Indian papers will pick it up..He should be called up by the Match referee and also Teams must refuse to accept what the Captain has to say on in field catches.

I don't think SA is going for runs cos of the three wickets they lost in the morning, I feel they will keep on batting slowly until tea..if they don't loose any more wickets, then they might go after the bowling after tea..knowing very well even if they loose two wickets they can play for a Draw..

I would love to see a SA win and a 3-0 whitewash..I think it will be after 77 years
