The LTTE in the peninsula is thus sandwiched in between the 53 and 55 divisions in the north and 58 division in the south.

While tigers continue to resist after withdrawing from some areas it is doubtful whether they can hold out for a long period say analysts.

These are indeed heady times. The battle cries of our ancient warriors are again ringing through Alimankada and Yapa Patuna.

Lions to the kill!
Lions to the kill!
Tear them limb to limb!
Eat their livers!

Once all the terrorist scum has been slaughtered our republic will be again one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Cheers!

The Individual and occasional amicable relationship with few Sinhalese cannot justify the collective atrocities of Sinhalese against the Tamil population

Do not bet on winning the war with warriors of Tamil Eelam! You keep forgetting that your so-called warriors had not won a major battle since 1505!

They may have won Kili-like battles, here and there... but not a major war!

Actually, the ancient warriors were Tamils. The Sinhala kings always relied on Tamil soldiers because the Sinhalese were inept,Lazy slobs. That is the fact, otherwise why so many Kings needed the Tamils help to defeat the fellow Sinhala kings of this island. :))

Sri Lanka has never been united or integrated in her 2500 year old history. What kind of jingoist blabbering is this. Pathetic indeed! :))) LOL

Binkunda,

Aus boy hows peelam tamils in there?? dipressed being thinking of deportations?/ hak hak

Don't know mate. I haven't been in contact with any local tamils since Kili was captured, and most of my tamil friends are against the LTTE. I did recently see a friend of a friend get a tiger tattoo on his upper shoulder, but he's like best friends with some sinhalese guys, and even after getting his tat, at the tattoo palour itself, there's pics of him hugging his sinhalese mates... so i don't get it. I think they are just confused by it all, and these guys aren't the brightest tools in the shed, if you know what i mean.

EEELamaya, my poor fellow, why not read a history book once in while so you can converse with some intelligence. Here are few historical facts that you have never read about.
* Battle Of Mulleriyawa 1561 King Rajasinha I - Portuguese defeated by Sinhala
* Battle of Danture in 1594 King Wimaladhrmasuriya - Portuguese defeated by Sinhala
* Battle of Randeniwela in 1630 King Rajasinha II - Portuguese defeated by Sinhala
* The British inavding Senkadagala defeated in battle multiple times by Sinhalese armies.

Mind you these battles were fought with tens of thousands of troops on both sides with cannon and firearms. These Europeans were the superpowers of that era.

Cheers!
