It was known that abt 3000 cadres evacuated from EP & joined Mullaithivu..
So the talk of 10,000 Battle hardened tigers is reasonable with non combatants helping them...
but to find out Suresh was you... :)))

Sri lanka is walking into a vicious circle of hatred and violence.
GOSL has wrestled down the Tigers , but the question is will they able to be hold on .
Now when i say hold on i dont mean the tigers will do any military miracles.
But will the GOSL able to hold on the tigers down by offering a RESPECTFUL and MEANINGFUL solution. To top it will they implement it , will fututre sinhala polity refrain from hurting tamil sentiments ?
The big question is how much power are the Sinhaleese ready to let go ?

well thats what I call lack of proper leadership:)) with that much of troops in hand.. and they have been tactically withdrawing for almost more than 2 years now:)) |

That is becasue they are interested in mostly 'Kill ratio' of SLA than in holding the Land Mass.
It was your Fonseka who started the Kill ratio yet he is not able to achieve wat he set out to !
Remember your Own Iraqi Info Minister said that 3000 SLA lives lost in 3 months since Oct 2008 ! |

so how many did the LTTE manage to kill? and what advantage did it give them in order to stop the SLDF advance? if the tigers did a considerable amount of SLDF killing how come the SLDF advance never stopped? |

So 10,000 battle hardened LTTE are waiting. The normal thing is to inflict max damage to the attackers and then hold your ground...
That is what has happened to SLA ...there has been abt 15,000 Desertors, 10,000 limbless & another 10,000 KIA since the Eelam war started...
So this is a impressive fight back by tigers...who are just crouching to pounce...
but they have to be patient for another 3 more months ! |
