VAVUNIA & KILINOCHCHI: MORE than one hundred Civilians leaving their homes in LTTE-held areas came to OMANTHAI VADDAKACHCHI, PANDIMODDAI and THADDUVANKADDU areas and sought protection from the Security Forces Saturday (10).
Flood gates opened. They better make sure LTTE does not inflitrate with civilians. Hope troops sweep through the remaining areas so that people can go back to their homes minus roofing sheets. LTTE destroyed most of their homes and took away doors/windows/roofing sheets etc. TRO frozen funds will come handy to help resettle these people. |

Whether it is Opposition or Government, it doesn't matter for them...
People live as usual....
Remember, he came from UNP to SLFP,... going back is not that hard either,.... and in politics, anything is possible,....
Yea, he made some troubles, but he never lost his 'national Interest' he is a genuine patriot...

That is before I was born. I know what happened in 1983. Dont get me wrong, I am not taking the blame away from sinhalese thugs. But, UNP instigated 1983 riots which was the worst in our history. |

Hello, friends and the enemies of 'leif' In this forum.
I feel it is time that people with some other ideas and values participate in this forum witch is may be different than what we are reading here every day. History of this world has been teaching us a lot of lessons on why we shod fight against all form off oppression and racism.
Unfortunately our leaders will never learn the word respect for other peoples life . Some off this leaders will learn the lessens only in the hard way. Now, it is up to us to teach our leaders the lessons of love in our own way.
We have seen how other countries and people have taught lessons to their hypocrites leaders around the world in our Leif time.
The American Tamils do their best in their way.

Its high time you guys start to behave in a civil way and banish Mervin style behaviour however much a nationalist he is. Its ugly and bad example to the younger generation! and the country as whole! So his national interest is pure selfishness!
