Lion,
now is the time that we all take a stand against the traitors the UNP
now is the time some one put up there hand to cut Ranil in pieces...
he has no right to live any more...
in a better sri lanka by hook or crook he should be murdered....
I too think that Ranil is a traitor and he should not be in SL politics, but calling for his death is a bit extreme. The UNP lobbyist should call for his sacking, or even sent to court for his traitorous actions, but anything more is too severe. |

When the journalists were killed and the press offices were destroyed by EPDP with the assistance of the SLA in Jaffna where did the UNP go?
The jounalists of Uthayan, Eelanadu, Sudaroli, Tamilnet and the correspondent of BBC were gunned down by both EPDP and military personel. US and other international community kept quiet.
President-elect Obama wants to prosecute some of the officials of the Bush administration for 'possible crimes'. Ambassador Jeffrey Lunstead was active in inspiring and encouraging the Sri Lankan government to abrogate the CFA, hum, iliate the peace facilitators, that resulted in genocides and blockade of basics essentials to Tamils.

parliamentarian Mangala Samaraweera, said that the people do not trust the local police as they have failed to arrest any suspects in the assassination of Lasantha Wickramathunga
Tamils have suffered this and more for decades. When one is not able to see the current problems through the opposition (Tamils in this instance) the return karma happens and they (Sinhalese) learn with time. |

Wanni sources have indicated to the EFT that Poddu Amman is being treated well by the SLA military intelligence and is cooperating with various other intelligence outfits.
The Indian security apparatus, primarily RAW is known to be engaged in intense discussions with the SLA Military Intelligence wing. RAW is reported to have requested the extradition of Poddu Amman to India to face criminal proceedings there for Poddu s hand in the assassination of former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. The congress led Indian government is very keen on seeing Poddu face trial. It is worth noting here that India and GoSL does not have an extradition treaty currently in place. The pro congress Tamil Nadu (TN) politicians are said to have expressed displeasure at RAW s current moves as over 95% of Tamil Nadu voters support the LTTE s liberation struggle. The Tamil Nadu politicians are also not happy that the Poddu Amman affair is being swept under the carpet by the GoSL. They would like to see the affair made public so that they can galvanise TN support for and display solidarity with the supreme leader of the LTTE. |
