Because the land belongs to Sri Lanka, and the Sri Lankan Government controls the entire land. If you don't like it, go some where else, but still you won't find any land that a Government doesn't control.
AussieBoy,
An article published in the official website of the SLA, on the day of the victory in Killinochchi. Titled History Repeats Itself as Kilinochchi Awaits Liberation, the article makes wide ranging comparisons between a war mentioned in Sinhala-Buddhist mythology-cum-history, and the current conflict between the LTTE and the Sri Lankan state. According to the SLA, the war now is to regain Sinhala land that was illegally occupied by foreign invaders.
The Government of Sri Lanka says, it is Sinhala land and you are saying the lands belong to Sri Lanka. You are contradicting your government. Does the word Sri Lankans mean the Sinhalese?
Did you send a note of objection to the SLA to condemn the portrayal of Tamils as invaders and the capture of Kilinochchi as the conquest of Tamils? You wouldn't do that because you are another Sinhala racist disguising as a peace-loving humanitarian to give pep talks to the Tamils here. Right? :)))
Your government says the Tamils are invaders but people like you give this 'we all are Sri Lankans' pep talk. Why is that?
Why the Sinhalese are cunning, double-faced evil characters? Is it because their ancestors were thieves and thugs who were banished by their own parents and landed in this island in dingy boats?:))
