The LTTE is a guerilla force. They are trained in conventional war, and they have limited capacity to be a full-pledged conventional army. They can be much more effective as guerilla force and cause more havoc in the Sorry Lankan terror state. :))

i know you are a moderate singalam person with a soft corner for the thugs mahinda and gotha/when the battle starts please do not visit any public places in the south especially colombo.

tiger force sorry to see ya situation.. as i am typing this many sri lankans sinhales e/ tamils/muslims visits sri lanka daily .. from abroad.. sorry about your situation which might be impossible to travel to a country where you claimed Bogusly been tortured /beaten/arrested just to claim a disgusting Asylum status.. Specially uttering bunch of lies about the born country.. i have visited sri lanka 2 times this year and spend 80 days..totally and visited every corner in the east including the liberated areas..hikzz..so dont advice me on secrity situation just sitting on a chair 1000 miles away as a refugee....

I didnt mean the Sri Lankan Tamils of Recent Indian Origin.

I meant diaspora from Tamil Nadu!


They are even much richer than the Eelam Tamil diaspora. Majority of them are medical professionals and business owners in the USA and in UK. They are a well established community than the Sri Lankan Tamils. Now other waves of Indian Tamil professionals are flocking to the west.

In my own experience, I think this Sinhala war against Tamils and the Indian government's step motherly treatment of Tamil Nadu Tamils and their concerns are making them to unite as Tamils more than ever before. Many of them are furious and handsomely contributing to the Tamil cause in Sri Lanka. Many Indian Tamil professionals were charged by the FBI for trying to buy weapons to LTTE in 2006.
