yeah right...
CFA was violated thousands of times by the lpte...
lpte took on so many of our people... they tried to kill the army commander, defence secretary etc and during CFA...
gosl was tied to the cfa while lpte used it to the maximum...
by the time gosl officially anulled it there was no ceasefire...
even the monitors kept on saying it was only on paper...
im not defending the flawed CFA...but i know 101% a flawed cfa is better to work with than no cfa at all...
the point i brought cfa was in reference to toyota 's point of view that AB had the intention to solve through talks while VP did not!
btw.......the cfa was armed with the clause to amend it ....if you says the ltte killed people, it should have been amended in way, that the ltte could not continue with the killings... |

it was better to work with that for lpte which anyway never showed any interest to tackle core issues...
Bala had always maintained that they want nothing short of Peelam in essence so they wanted to drag the talks untill they were much stronger enough to fight better... something they always did until this time... |
