No its' not... I am going to tell you something that might not bode well with you. I have been involved with many NGOs in the past few years and one very crucial NGO employee and we were at a function and naturally the local 'issue' came up. In a nutshell these are the words she said, 'Many NGO workers are here for the sun, sex and the sand'. They are here to get credits to their degree programs, work experience or simply the money. The Tamils's struggle is not a grave concern for them, there are more deserving people in the deep jungles of Africa and South America. Who has bigger issues with genocide, disease and abject poverty.
