Tiggy, it was only Anton Balasinham who had some interest to resolve this issue through dialogue with GOSL. He was in some agreement to what Chndrika has propposed '10 year interim governement', but your dumb head grade 5 dropout velu pissa thought to eat the whole cake and thought he can do it by using war and he started attacking GOSL army and put bombs in Colombo...
if you think, it is VP the problem then why did the gosl jumped to annul the CFA?? not allowed the ltte to cancel it or tear it!
bombs are going go off even now more than during the CFA periods or people on both sides are getting killed now more than during the cfa period!
the sticking point here is, the ltte will not accept the solution you like to impose and the gosl will not give the solution the ltte asks...there is no point in blaming the ltte...
so it has to be resolved through talks or a referendum should be held to let the people decide...either way it has to be initiated by the gosl which suppose to be a responsible state actor while the ltte remain as a non state actor.
but this suppose to be a responsible state actor decided to stoop to the level of suppose to be a terrorist org ltte to wage war to kill even more people! either both parties are terrorists or both are an angels..so there is no point in name calling..
any way..does this war makes any sense to your over a simple, cost effective, peaceful referendum ?? what is the fear of holding this referendum??
