I agree Singala politicians played games to get power. They did not implement the law of the country when the Tamils were harmed.
negotiated settlement is the final solution. I don't think any body is against that. But not with Terrorists not with LTTE terrorists.
As far as Tamils are concerned, in fact, the final settlement is the implementation of the negotiatioed solution. It will be pointless to agree on a negotiated solution and then shelve it.
What often happened is whoever in the oppotion tries to attach the negotiated solution and Sinhala people voted for them... thus any of the past agreements were not implemented, thus creating VP and the war! |
