Well, you are talking about a war veteran who had fought for over 30 years and who knows Tamil homeland in and out...
Yes this is why Susai has regected VP's comand on several missions to use sea tigeres. So is pottu Amman. They do not want to conduct the missions if they new they will loos it.
VP and his main pillars are still intact... as long as even one of them remain intact, the liberation struggle for Tamils will not end...!
I don't know what other 'main pilars' that VP has if Nadesan also followed them. And VP has asked Bhanu he do not see his face again after with drawing from Killinochchi disregarding his commands.
Tamil strugle wil never end. It has been there in Sri Lanka over thousands of years.
The next battles may not be fought in Vanni, but in UN, EU, and other world forums... that may be the only way to stop the Singala invation, that pharoah had mentioned!
I agree as long as Tamils give up arms. Give up terrorism its OK to fight peacefully for what ever the reason and as you always say for next 100 years.

I have expressed my thoughts here on violanct means... I have said that suicide attacks and killing a politician here and there will not help Tamil cause. But, VP alone cannot be held accountable for the violent war. The Singala leaders as well must be held responsible.
If Singala people come clean on this and accept faults, then Tamils will most likely accept a negotiated settlement...but, we seem to be quite far from that stage, still! |

The LTTE tried to retreat without taking too many casualties. Now they have no other choice but to jump into the sea. Thus, the leadership of the government and army, together with the destruction caused to the LTTE s frontline cadres has contributed to this lot.

Of course. But Its not Sinhala leaders its the politicians of Sri Lanka. Its Sinhala, Muslim and Tamil politicians should be held responcible. Their objective was to gain power. Not the people. Racism is the best tool. UNP sponsered 83 massacare this was a organised crime. Everybody knows it but racists wants to put the blame on Sinhalese. The same UNP killed over 40000 Sinhalese youth in 89/90.

negotiated settlement is the final solution. I don't think any body is against that. But not with Terrorists not with LTTE terrorists.
Nothing is too late. There are thousands who still can be saved. |

in Sri Lanka there is no tamil land or Sinhala land.
I thought Sarath Fonseka said something to the contrary...unless it was a false diaspora statement...
any more news on the Pottu issue?...I hear that it is GOSL propoganda and no truth in it. I cannot be sure as the source is not a 100% |

The GOSL will never negotiate with Tamils. Period.
If it negotiates then there is some pressure from somewhere and not because of genuine willingness. Just an opinion since I have already been classified as a moron in this forum. |

| Now that the A9 is open, I wonder if there will be NGOs and other parasites who wants to come and set up camp along the road like stalls... like they did it during the CFA. |

Sarath fonseka is the millitory leader of the armed forces. He is not a policy maker nor head of state. Even in his statement he mentioned Sri Lanka is the motherland of Sinhalese which is true. But he did not say Sri Lanka is a 100% Sinhala country.

Yes any defeat was a GOSL propaganda for you. Thats what you repeated untill Forces capture Killinochchi. Still some belived its a GOSL propaganda.
I have doughts about this. But anyways I dought even if Pottu surrendered to GOSL they will published it. There is hardly any chance they should be given amnesty and if GOSL declaired about this they will not be able to do what ever they want due to the international pressure. |

Peelamaya,
Nothing but the expansion of Singala areas in the North!
There is no Singhala North or Singala South. We all have one country call Srilankan.
I was born in Russia and a Russian. Now I am a Srilankan too and PROUD TO BE A SRILANKAN. |
