rather than write about LTTE all the time, it would be good if you can try and write some postings about the ordinary Tamils there.
SL gov is going to evict Tamils from Nilaveli (Trinco district) to South Mullaitivu for an economic zone, just like in Sampoor. I would expect more evictions by GOSL in the future, they want to make an island that is 100% Sinhalese Buddhist in nature.

Indeed this is the continuation of the master plan that DS had started... DS put Sinhala people in NE Anuradapura district and near Trinco area to prepare for the Nothern expansion. Now, MR had picked up the remaining part.
We had faith that VP is the only way to stop this Sinhala colonization... but, that hope seems to be slipping away now.
The Tamils world over must pay close attention to this issue and mount opposition... else, MR will be unstoppable.
You may recall, in a survey in the Singhala South, a year or so ago, results of which were widely published, DS is still the most popular Singala leader to ever rule the country... MR can take over DS only by outdoing what DS did...what does that mean? Nothing but the expansion of Singala areas in the North! |

Well, you are talking about a war veteran who had fought for over 30 years and who knows Tamil homeland in and out... VP and his main pillars are still intact... as long as even one of them remain intact, the liberation struggle for Tamils will not end...!
The next battles may not be fought in Vanni, but in UN, EU, and other world forums... that may be the only way to stop the Singala invation, that pharoah had mentioned! |

you are wrong. Even the Sri Lankan costitute never say Sri Lanka is a Sinhala Buddhist country. There were and there are more Tamils live with Sinhalese than with LTTE.
You are the ones who wants a land based on racism. in Sri Lanka there is no tamil land or Sinhala land. |

If DS didn't do it, Tamils would have occupied north Central and Polonnaruwa, Ampara and Mannar/Puttamlam/Trinco districts.
What is now necessary to do is allow all Sri Lankans to live where they want to live.
If tamils can live in Colombo so do the Sinhalese can live in Jaffna.
