it could be tuff call and it is extremley difficult to convince many. but it would be too late to correct after it went out of hand
Alternative leaders to gather together the remanants and form a political party like the JVP did?
Samapanathan, Rudrakumar and Jay Maheswaran perhaps.. beginning of a political council of leaders (that is where the LTTE went wrong with so much (i.e. all) political and military power in one person - power corrupts, absolute power, corrupts absolutely. |

not at all...should win Tamil people...MR will achieve it.
Yes, MR will easily win the heart of tamils in North and East. However, the root cause is the Sri Lankan tamil Diaspora who thinks they have tamils in Sri Lanka who are ready to sacrifice their lives to full fill tamil Diaposra's wet dream of Peelam. It is time to ban the LTTE in SL and take action on those peelam diaspora. |

letting sla capture mullaitheevu without having a political package on the table
got your point yes...but few barriers...Tamils have lost Moderate Leaders whom could sit with Southern leadership..which makes the delay of banning LTTE...seems too late even LTTE come clean right now. |

| Elephant Pass is the main entrance to the Jaffna Peninsula which can be used in all weather conditions. In 1991, Army Corporal Gamini Kularathne of Sri Lanka Army Sinha Regiment made his supreme sacrifice to save his comrades by attacking an explosive laden bulldozer driven by an LTTE suicide bomber. Corporal Gamini prevented the LTTE bulldozer entering the Army camp by getting on to the vehicle and immobilizing it with a hand grenade attack. He was posthumously conferred with Parama Weera Vibhushanya (PWV), the award for the bravery of highest order.
