The same ODDUSUDAN township was captured during the Rivibala operation in December 1998 without a single shot being fired in a classic example of surprise and deception. Three Divisions 53, 55 and 56 took part in this operation which were capable of conducting effective night manoeuvres successfully without any own casualties.
The most recent capture of KILINOCHCHI town center, PARANTHAN and now the ODDUSUDAN town sent the LTTE reeling and dealt a severe blow to the terror outfit.

When Rajapaksa relay the news coming from 'Pons',most of the racists Sinhalese in Sri Lanka react like they got the World Cup..
But, the modays do not know that the game is not over..
