If ever Tamil Eelam becomes a reality, those at its helm would seek to promote secessionism in India.
cooked up story to suit a few pandits...
indians are not that fool ....if they want to separate their own states, they just have to google to find out the new countries since 1990! more than 30 new countries were born!
bangladesh was separated but the bengal state is still part of india! |

If ever Tamil Eelam becomes a reality, those at its helm would seek to promote secessionism in India. The Sri Lankan Tamils are not fools to realise that any untoward provocation by them would prompt India to move in and annex the nascent state to prevent long term consequences. Besides, the new state will be heavily dependent on India for many things. Its protector will have to be India. The Hindu-Tamil heritage will make it India s staunchest ally. After a debilitating armed struggle the Sri Lankan Tamil people known for their common sense and pragmatism would not promote a separatist struggle in Tamil Nadu against the all-powerful India.

is wrong. Religion is not unique to Tamils.
Sinhalanut,
We have own Saivite traditions. It is different from Tamil Nadu. In Karnataka they have Veera Saivam. We Eelam Tamils have Siddhandha Saivam. We Eelam Tamils don't consider Sanskrit Vedas as our holy book, we put the Tamil Thverams to par with Vedas. And the Brahmins don't have upper hand in the Eelam Tamil Saivism. There are much more unique qualities in Eelam Tamil Saivism.

Tiggy,
except the language issue, the way of life, food and slightly different culture is so unique to us and we could not find the same in TN...
so we want to save it...
say for example,,, the USA, the UK and Australia shares the same language but the way of their lifes is totally different from each countries...
And now, once you are in a foreign country, your culture will change again... culture and values change because of surroundings, climate, location, etc., but that doesn't mean that each flavour of culture should have it's own country... yes, culture can be unique to a particular area, but that doesn't justify a separate country.

Tiggy,
well said again thivya.....
Last week, Thivya said that if she has a son, she will send him off to Sri Lanka to 'kill the Sinhala aggressors'.
Will you be doing that as well? |

Thivya,
Read Daisy's list. It will show whats happening in India.
You said:
Tamil people known for their common sense and pragmatism would not promote a separatist struggle in Tamil Nadu against the all-powerful India
TN already have done in the past, before Mahatma Gandhi change the constitution..
Again I'm asking - why you want a separate country in the north?
First you said -
YOu: Tamil is a separate nation.
ME: Karnataka is also a separate nation. They also should be given their own country.
You: Yes. they too should be give. But you 'think' they dont want. But you want to have one bcs pusaris want to have links with TN pusaris. and also bcs your pronounciation is different and want to save it for future generations.
ME: 'SL tamils in abroad believe the whole India should be divided based on their languages if they willing to have it'.
